Help with preflowers?

Hello all, new here, so hopefully this goes in the right place.

This is my first grow, and I have a couple nice plants that are short and bushy thanks to my training early on. I have had them under 600w HPS on 12/12 for about a week. At the nodes I have started to find pre-flowers on both plants. I have identified white hairs coming out of budding calyxes, but here is my question. All of the pics I have seen online for sexing plants show female preflowers having TWO white hairs (pistils) protruding, and mine almost all have only one. Is it because they are still so young? I mean, these are very small preflowers, and I mostly have to use magnification to see them well. Can you experienced guys and gals take a look at these and tell me if I am on the right track?

sometimes you get one, two, or three. When the calyxes fill out you wont be able to count, as they are stacked.

one hair , two hairs ....... what ever aslong as it doesnt have balls ...... or balls and hairs you are fine

Thanks for the fast responses. Makes me worry a little less lol.. Like I said, first grow and I want to make sure I am not pissing up a rope with these plants
But yeah, no balls at all, just the little upside down teardrops with white hairs coming out. I think it's a girl

Hahaa--Just wondering--I used to listen to a lot of podcasts and there was a guy named Ghost who had one called "True Capitalist Radio". He used the same avatar
