By the way, 48 bucks for perlite?! Is it covered with gold?! Fuck that! The soil I use already comes with perlite but I know it is cheap (here it's 0,50€/L or 3€ (2 bucks) a 10L bag! That's a LOT of perlite!

yah the general organics line works real well, they have a three part system (Ca+Mg, BioThrive Grow, and BioBloom) they are fairly inexpensive compared to other nutes and are all organic. They also have organic root booster, supplemental minerals and such called fish food. Overall a real smelly bunch of nutes but they sure grow some real tasty herbs.

Definitely use guanos too they are a great source of your three key elements needed for growing.

I am in puerto rico. that is why i want to make sure you guys recommend stuff for me to pick up from that store. Just make one trip, shoot home depot is 50 miles from me too. Walmart does not carry no perlite, hopefully home depot does. There are no lowes here. So any other stuff i should pick up, i think they made an error on price of the 5 gallon liquid guano.

Didn't use neem oil in my first grow. The place was kinda dirty and never had problems with it until the last week (I only had the bottom parts of the plants to harvest, as I waited a bit more for them to mature), when suddenly mosquitos started sucking on my buds! Fortunately they died (probably stoned as hell) so the only problem I had, was some extra work removing the dead mosquitos and 2 or 3 minor buds trashed. Won't risk it again, using neem right now:D Still, don't know if it really works but from what I've read, it does and it is not that expensive: 6,5€ here (±8,8$). Cheers!
