Help with scrog please

Hey Connoisseur, what is the timeline for cutting anything below the screen that probably won't reach in my case? I've done a little here and there but should I stop now? What about fan leaves below the screen that don't get much light?

I usually have the bottom 1/3 of mine clear of everything ( pretty much the same as you do right now minus a few underling colas) before flower. As far as the leaves you did a good job up to this point clearing things out. So I would not be too worried about what is under the net ( leaf wise ) because these underling leaves will get some of the excess light that comes through and still be of some use to the plants. As the Flowering progress these same underling leaves will slowly start to yellow and die off. That said you don't want to leave a gorilla forest underneath ( which you didn't). In general you don't want to do any trimming in flower ( because it slows down growth ), but you can't just leave colas underneath the canopy if they won't be getting light. So depending on how many colas underneath need to be taken I would do it in waves. Not taking more than 2 colas off a single plant per day with 2-3 days in between cuttings. These are bigger Colas though with decent sized stems. If you are taking off really small growth then you can take more.It would also help to give plants Coconut or Kelp waterings after cutting. ideally you would want to get all trimming/cutting done a week before Flower. I know this is hard to do in a SCROG it is kind of a art. Hope that helps

That does help. Thanks a lot! I'll have to look into the coconut and kelp waterings. I've not heard of it before.

Oh Ok I have never tried CoCo before. CoCo with Cork? That is the first i have heard of that. From what I am reading it acts as a Aeration amendment ( similar to Perlite ). It also acts as a storage for water and it is also supposed to help with the plants uptake of CO2. Check this out https://cannasseurmagazine.co/cork-the-future-of-growing.
I would highly recommend you Organically Growing.I find the flavors, smells and tastes to be incomparable. The best thing about growing Organic is recycling your soils and the further you progress in your growing the more rich your medium becomes and you end up spending less money with each grow. I started out growing with Fox Farm Nutrients for a bit but then moved to Organic. I now use a Veganic soil mix similar to the ones in these links. Save these for if you ever decide to try Organic. Hope this helps

Mountain Organics runs a No-Till but most of what his thread teaches can be applied to any Organic set up. If you have any questions about his method scroll down the thread. He answers everyone's questions.

Here is another good soil mix to begin with https://forum.grasscity.com/threads/easy-organic-soil-mix-for-beginners.1116550/

This question may be answered in the links and I'll get a chance to read through them later but was wondering.... I do drain to waste. Can that style be done with organics and the soil you use?

Im sorry Tiger I am a little confused at the question. Can you elaborate a little more please. I don't know what drain to waste mean? Maybe I smoked too much this morning...

Looking really good. I ran dwc scrog my first grow on here and loved it. Did a soil grow. 5 bushes lol. I prefer the symmetry of scrog. Tiger, you've inspired me to go back to scrog... Maybe I'll try a soil scrog this time. Happy growing.... I'm subbed
