hey all,
i have a question about watering,i germed 6 seeds in paper towel,
and dropped them into well watered fox farm ocean forest potting soil
not more than 1/2 inch i think, anyway the soil was decently wet kinda like wet sand anyway, how often/much should i water them till they sprout?
i read when they have their coytl's till veg only water when its dry about a half finger or so down.
the seeds all had about 1/8" or so long of tap root when i planted them.
and they are in 3 gal planters, they will only get ambient light till i see them pushed up then im hittin em with 2 cfl's at 10,500 lumens each.
anyways this is my very first attempt at growing please help..
thanks all

I would consider purchasing a moisture meter. They run about $5 at Wal-mart. Just keep it in the moist range and you will be fine!

you can lift the pot and feel if it's light.this indacates it needs watering.when you water feel how heavy it is.you just get used to pickin up the pot and seein weather it needs watering!!!

I don't water mine at all. I put a homemade humidty dome over them. Daily I take it off and mist the dome and the clones. They are taking in their water thru their leaves until they can establish roots and don't need to be water soaked in order to accomplish this.
