Hey im using sunshine #4 and i have a few questions...

I cut it 3 bails of sunshine to one big bag of perlite, I am used to mixing fert and watering but the amount of plants i have is becoming too much to mix all the nutes..money and time mixing you know...

I would like to know if there is a good mix i coult incorporate into the soil to provide enough food to get through the first 2-3 weeks of veg.

I use foiler sprays to supplement the veg and bush em out.

but any suggestions are welcome...

i mix in fox farm light seed warrior into my #4. but im still watering every 2 or 3 days with nutes. if your not looking to go soilless, u can mix any soil in with #4 mix. ive even mixed ocean forest in with sunshine #4 for a few mother plants. they are doing real good.

well first off, sunshine mix #4 isnt soil, its soiless mix. To get them through the first two to three weeks you may want to look into worm castings. Visit the organics forum for info on what you should mix in, to save on using ferts all the time.

Ive just had a soil called vitamix-pro, dont know if you've heard off it? its got hardly any nutes at all' anyway i was told to mix 25% wormcastings into a gallon a soil.
I dont know but am i right in thinking whenever bonl meal is add it is best 2 put very thin layer down towards the bottom so it makes it way up to the roots?
