Help with spotting males!!! 12 bagseed boys and girls

I need any specific details on how to spot a male. I have about 12 plants from bagseed, both soil and soiless. They are about 3 weeks into vegetative stage and i am scared im going to miss one and screw it all up, any help would be greatly appreciated

You can't easily tell until you switch the lights to 12/12 for flowering. Then its like a week or 10 days after that for easy signs. Before that you are looking for "pre-flowers" which show you the sex.

thanks alot, that helped out. but as i was reading i saw that you plucked the nuts. My question is if they can turn back to female? sounds a little off, but just a question

As a rule, a male will be male, you may think sexing will be hard, but as Gidget states, the signs will be obvious.

Males tend not to be as bushy during flowering, (but don't rely upon this)

Females will be evident by little white hairs that resemble "fine cotton", and males will have easy to tell, premature flowers that resemble green banannas.

Keep an eye on them, and you'll have a hard time messing up, as long as you get any males out before the flowers ripen & open, all will be well.

That's alright, and don't worry over it, this was one of my biggest concerns when I started out, I thought sexing would be incredibly hard, but now I can look back and laugh at how concerned I was, over something so easy, I'm sure you'll think the same when you see for yourself.

It is best to remove the male as soon as possible, but bare in mind, the male plant has to ripen too, so it's not as if you'll have pollinated plants as soon as the green balls appear.

You could always practise taking cuttings with any males, but don't do so with any parts that have immature flowers.

How many plants have you got on the go, anyways?

With the hermies, they all develop differently. In my case, the plant was like 95% female 5% male, so once I plucked those off I haven't seen any new ones form, and the one plant I've harvested out of the room so far I haven't found any seeds in. So I could be considered lucky! I'm happy about it.
There are those that are like 50/50 male/female, or more male then female, you'll have to judge for yourself when/if that time comes.

I'll attach my backyard bug porn, they're doing it on a full blown male plant, very different looking then the female bud you wanna smoke!

Excellent, I was going to try and explain Hermaphrodites but couldn't figure out the best way to word it so that it was understandable.

On my last grow, I had a hermie that I just didn't pick up on, as there was very, very few male flowers, and the ones that were, were hidden really well.

It's my own personal finding, out of the three hermies I've had in my time, that my personal ones have had deformed bud, and I'm on about blatantly deformed.

thanks, wow you guys are great help. but right now im doing a very unconventional like 4 or 5 bagseed plants in one waterfarm, but am in the process of building a bubbleponics system that ill clone from the best looking, which with the others i'll probably chop down unless theres two good ones.
