Help With Trimming My Plant

Hey, i have been wondering if anyone knows a good video on trimming or knows what to do in my situation. u can refer to the picture so you know what i mean

well my first thing is my plant is under cfl's and well i need info on trimming bc 2 branches are growing from the same spot on the stalk of the plant and the one grows out straight but the other goes upwards towards the other branch and it looks like its getting too crowded.

lol this is normal let them grow out the only reason u want to thin the plant is to get more light to the inside or lower part of the plant if u cut these shoots off u are cutting off bud sites u can clone these branches tho if u like wait for it to grow out cut 2 node below the top at an 45 degree angle with a clean razor blade score the cut of the plant with the razor then dip in rooting gel or powder then plant in a medium and keep the leaves of the clone moist and in 1-2 weeks u should see roots
