NIghtgrave, honestly you should keep one mother plant alive at all times. You DO NOT want to clone in flowering!!! It will stress the plant and you might not be happy with the results. It takes a clone usally 12 weeks from roots to buds to finish! I usually let them veg out for 1 to 2 weeks after they have roots, all im doing here is getting the root system started. Then once you have your roots started, you can flower those out when they are usally 12 inches and you will yield atleast 2 ounces per plant. I had a buddy just tell me that his friend who grows outdoors will sometimes take a strain that he likes, take cutting and stick them in the freezer, then in 6 months when hes ready to do it again, he justs gets them out of the freezer and dips them in rooting gel and he says they clone, IMO, i wouldn't be to county on that. It might say im a stranger here, but I've been around 2 other main canna sites spreading my knowledge around. So if you do ever have a question and really would like answers, I can invite you to these 2 sites! one of the sites, you can acutally talk to the breeders! This goes a long way, as they know excatly what TLC that the plant needs. Really good folks their, willing to lend a hand, I have not been around for a while, and I see you started this thread and no one really responed back? Thats not how its done at the Bay, you ask a question and your gaurnetied a answer that will not have you scatching your head, I've been around the canna sites, and I ask questions to answers that I already know as a test to see how someone from a different site will act, and let me tell you they all tell me to check my PH! HA I don't even own a PH meter! But have been growing for 7 years now! All the strains im growing I have had atleast 3 years of time with them! I have created a new strain to this world, and my dreams of it being released are gonna be ture! Thanks to the Bay! Look out for Frozen Widow!!!! I also go by the name of HomeTNGrown420, thats my name at breedbay.co.uk look me up, Look up the DIRTY DOZEN!
