I am on my first grow and she is in week 6 flowering. in the last 2 weeks i have noticed that the leaves are twisting and flipping down on the sides. it just keeps getting worse. i am using roots organic soil with FF TB and BB but i rarely use it because i was getting nute burn even at 1/4 strength. i just got a mango kush clone and have done nothing but water it and it too now is doing the same thing. my temps never get above 85 and i am watering with albertsons natural spring water. is this heat or is this ph? or what the fuck is this? please help diagnose this problem for this is my 3rd thread about it with no help yet.

More than likely a pH problem, are you pHing the water going in the runoff?
If not than I would guess that is your problem

This can be a sigh of Cal./Mag. issues. I use reverse osmosis water and I have to add 1 - 2 ml per gallon of water. Tap water has these elements in it most of the time. You might want to give your girls some pH balanced tap water every so often. Filtered water usually is stripped of these trace elements that the plants need. Hope this helps.

i am not but i though that bottled water would have a neutral ph. i dont even have a ph kit. you dont think this is heat related though?

No I don't think the temps are causing a problem
If you don't know what reverse osmosis water is than I doubt you are using it

edit: IceWaterBong87- you don't have a clue what you are talking about, I suggest that you only offer advice to others on things that you know for a fact
He is using CFL's they should be within an inch of the foliage, thanks for you attempt at legit advice though

how long has it been since you last fed this thing ? it almost looks like it could use phosphorus with the purple stem and veins

...I want to restate my opinion, you have a mag. issue due to being out of pH range. Flush your plants with ph balanced @ 6.5 for soil or soilless. Keep flushing until your runnoff water comes out @ 6.5. You'll need to water them slowly, water them...then come back in an hour and water again....WATER SLOWLY.

...go to Walmart, or a fish store, a pool store...or ofcourse a hydro store, or even online somewhere to find you some pH correcting materials.
For you cheapest, accurate route...get "General Hydroponics" , "Liquid pH test kit" ...simple, reliable, cheap.

...you might want to even flush with tap water to be sure you do have some Mag in there.

ok so not heat most likely ph. i will get a ph kit tomorrow and test the run off and the water i feed with. should i figure out what reverse osmosis water is and be using it? what does it do?

last watering was 2 days ago. no nutes though. is FF TB and BB good to be using? i have not used it in a while because i was getting nute burn. should i wait to feed with these until i can make sure i have the correct ph? do thes nutes change the ph in my feeding water when i mix?

Reverse Osmosis is a special filtering technique that will remove all dissolved solids from the water
You don't need that growing in soil, and it would make your problems worse as you would have to add back calcium and magnesium because the RO filter removes that from the water
Don't worry about it, that is a long ways in your future

...there ya go! You'll get all kind's of lock outs if you don't keep your plant in pH range. We can set and tell you what she is missing, but, until your ph is in range "for sure", you'll not know if it's due to a lack of the element or an over abundance of the element. My hunch is, you correct your pH, and all your problems will go away.

the only reason i dont think it is a (p) def is because right when i got the clone the same thing that is happening to my sour NuNu started happening to the clone. twisting leaves!

Yeah, it's a PH problem. Those twisty leaves are a sure sign. Even though you're using balanced water,(likely) the PH will be thrown off when you mix it with fert. The Dynagro fert I'm using, changes my 6.8 water to about 5.2, after mixing.

Im new to this, but I read a post on here that your not supposed to use foil to reflect light could that be the problem?
