ok kinda stupid question... ummm where do i look to identify sex? i know it doesn't show for a week or two but id like to know where i should be looking. all help is appreciated.
1-2 weeks after flowering cycle has started, you should notice some formations at the nodes. A female will grow aprox 2 thin greenish short pistils that shoot up, while a male will grow balls, that will at first also shoot upwards, but after a while hang downwards.
ok im pretty sure its a female at 3-4 days into flowering is this possible or could i be mistaking it for something else, because i know that females normally mature later..
Yes they do normally develop later, but they also show preflower sometimes, even before you have put them into 12/12. So just because your seeing it early it doesn't mean it's male.
Wait a few more days and you will know for sure. Within a week you should know for definate, as once they begin to form proper, there is no mistaking females from males.
