Help

Im a new grower who doesnt know too much, aside from what ive seen on several sites. 4 days ago i planted 3 seeds in a 2-liter tower sweatbox, where ive sealed off 3 2-liter bottles together which creates just enough moisture to sprout the seed. Yesterday i checked on them, and they grew about 2 1/2-3 inches.

I still need a light but am having trouble finding one. So if someone could please help me out by telling me how long this "hotbox" is going to last. I also have a 23" flourecent plant bulb that i got from wallmart.

Also if you could help me out with any tips or anything.

ok first things first... If you planted all three seeds in ONE box or pot or whatever. You should transplant them now. Before they are fully rooted in the soil. They will choke eachother when they get bigger so you should have three good sized pots. Secondly that light you got from wallmart for three plants. Is trash. Go back to wallmart get as many CFL's as you have socket's for and put them close since CFL's wont hurt your plants unless they really touch for long periods of time. The light needs to be on for about 18 hours on and six hours off for vegging state. Then 12-12 for flowering but flowering shouldnt occur for about a month and a half make sure to watch that. Nute's shouldnt be used untill the plant has shown significant growth which should be about two weeks after sprouting. DO NOT ENCLOSE YOUR PLANTS IN FOIL. it changes the temperature around the plants and that can kill them. Use pure clean water. Not from the faucet of your kitchen or bathroom. Get water from outside. Like a hose or something and put it in a container to store inside. Uhhmm.. if you run into any more problems just ask on the forums i'm sure someone will help. or ask me. I'd be glad to help. ALSO.. do not overwater your plants. The way you can tell is put your pink about two to three inches into the soil. If its still moist. DO NOT WATER. Thanks.. Happy growing!

In addition to what BioChemx posted, you don't need anything covering your seedlings i.e. your "hotbox". The only time this is necessary is when cloning. Also for the veg phase you should get compact fluorescents that say 6500K for flowering switch to 2700K or 3000K. There are plenty of guides on here.

I just got back from work/ browsing at wallmart, and i noticed some sort of bulb that gives off heat? Ill take that back though..
