Help!

I am a newb and over watered a few days ago... Its been growing for 2 weeks now and this is what it looks like, kind of turning yellow and the tips are brownish purple. The temps are between 80 and 90 with lights on and probably 70 and 80 when off. I am also growing in MG organic mixed with MG perlite so maybe thats the problem but can anyone help?

That soil looks horrible, I'd stray away from MG if at all possible. Looks like it's the nutes in the MG that's doin that, just from my observation. Just keep watering it normally, let it dry out completely before you re-water. Make sure it has runoff as well. The nutes should fix itself out, if that's the problem.

Yea i know the soil does look pretty bad... i was thinking of transplanting it but i don't know if it would die... and thats what i have been doing letting it dry out then watering and i do have run off. We shall see

Just wait til you have to transplant into a bigger pot, and make sure to use more perlite (try not to get MG perlite, it has MG nutes in it haha). Also, if you got the extra $5 pick up some Superthrive and put a drop/gallon before you transplant, then like 2 feedings later after you transplant, and that's all you'll need.

It should be ~85 during daytime, ~75 at nighttime. It can go up to ~90 if there's plenty of CO2, which he didn't mention, so if it does go up to the 90 mark, you should do something about that as well.

Yea i dont have any C02 i am just doing a test grow in a pc grow box i made. I have 2 pc fans one blowing in and the other blowing out. Temps do sometimes get over 90 but i try to keep it under.

I think they put that there more for the marketing than anything else. The nutes that are added to the MG perlite look like they're pretty much negligible. It's 0.04-0.01-0.06. I just mention it because I think at some stores the only option is MG perlite and don't think people should be scared to use it.

However, don't just take it from me:

Edit: I feel the need to elaborate a bit on this. The marketing comment was just a bit of a joke, but it shouldn't be enough nutes to hurt even seedlings. Same goes for the MG organic which is 0.05-0.01-0.05.

1 Gallon = 768 teaspoons * .04% N = .3072 teaspoons N in 1 gallon of MG Perlite

This corresponds to about 1.5 teaspoons of 20-20-20 all-purpose plant food per gallon. Compare this to the MG potting mix which is 0.21% N or almost 8 teaspoons of that 20-20-20 food. Also, the MG Perlite contains none of the heavy metals that the MG potting mix does.
