My temps have been super high (above 100F) and this popped up right after I think I let them dry out a little too much. To combat the high temps, I had placed a fan directly on the plants. I sometimes mist the plants with a spray bottle, sometimes with water that has hydro nutes in it. I recently switched over to "bloom" nutes. I was at full strength "grow" nutes so I just went straight to full strength "bloom" when it was time. I might have done one day at 1/2 strength.

I've doused them with some water without nutes and also added a small amount of weak "grow" nutes. I've aimed the fan so it's not directly on the plants. I may try some epsom salts but I wanted to get a few opinions first.

ur making it worse by misting with the lights on just like any plant the water acts like a magnifying glass and the dew on the leafs burn especially with chems

OK, thanks for the input. I figured it was so hot that misting would keep them a little cooler but it was probably hurting more than anything. +rep for chiming in
Without knowing too much about this, I also think the evaporation of the water on the leaves increased transpiration which may have caused some problems (drawing up too much nutes/elements or possibly locking nutes out?). Either way, hopefully they'll stabilize.

I went ahead and added some epsom salt to the water. I don't remember if that jug was plain water or 1/2 strength "grow" nutes. I plan to switch to 1/4 or 1/2 strength "bloom" nutes and continue with the epsom salt. I think this problem appeared when I switched to the bloom nutes. Hopefully the epsom salt will keep things in check. A new fan has brought the temps down a bit (still high for most people's standards). The new growth looks decent and buds are starting to form. I'll keep a close eye and post an update in a few days.

OK, the more I read into things, I am guessing I got comfortable increasing the nutrients all the way up to the full recommended dosage on the label. It probably got to be too much since I was watering with nutes every time. This may have caused a lockout. I am hoping flushing and the epsom salts will correct the problem. I'll probably go with plain water for at least one more refill and then start at 1/4 strength and not go any higher than 1/2 strength after a week or so. I'll also try to water alternate plain water/nutrient water.

Not sure what you're asking here. I'm pretty sure it's epsom salt, not that it matters. Or are you wondering why I'm adding it? My hydro nutes indicate to add 1 tsp of epsom salt to each gallon of water. From what I'm reading that seems like a lot. I'll probably back off after that one dose and just start to ease the nutes back in slowly.
