My wife gave the ok to grow a personal plant an my box is ready to go now I see all this about search, seize, letters, and shit. Being a family guy I don't need the bs of getting busted for seeds going through customs. Is there no way of buying in the US? So upset I waisted cash on my build.

I'm in a state near you. Still waiting on my herbies order.. (despatched on the 26th)
I will say this.. it is my 2nd time ordering seeds.. first time using stealth. I would recommend you using a company who will ship in a letter. The letters do get by somewhat higher than the packages.
As for my order, if it isn't here in the next few days I'll be tearing down my grow. So your situation could be a lot worse

Use attitude and guarantee your order. If it gets snagged they will re-ship it. I had one order seized with no guarantee and have purchased the insurance every time since. I did not have a cop or DEA come to my door after seizure.
I'm thinking... If I purchase seeds and they get seized. worst case scenario I'm out say $100 a letter in the mail and the cops/ DEA come and find nothing. And my grow is over before it even started. I won't be asking for my resend of seeds. Will I really be arrested for buying a few seeds? Doubt it. They make it through untouched I'm good to grow.

Hello hdevils. I am on the east coast, and grew until mid 2013. I always used "The Attitude". I ordered over 10 times in 2 years, always sent cash.....no shit. They never screwed me, and they did replace 1 guaranteed order. I had a separate email address just for tracking. Always had a confirmation and tracking # within 5 business days, and my products were here within 2 weeks. Hope this helps, and good growing to you. One more thing.......TELL NO ONE!!! I got busted because I had a fight (verbal) with my best friend of 22 years, and the punk ass little bitch turned me in, so I got busted for growing, and then for assault. Peace

Dude Herbies will due you right as well as Attitude. Different strokes for different folks.
Herbies now has an option for tracked and untracked shipping. Tracked will run you around 5-10$ more but they reship if it gets snagged. You can contact them in the special notes part on your order and probably work out getting it shipped however you please.
My last order came in no problems in 6 business days. Ordered on Sunday (they're closed on Sundays) they shipped it Tuesday and it arrived Saturday.
The bad part is my tracking didn't update until the day it arrived. That's no fault of Herbies though. That's actually typical (in my case anyways) So even in looking at your tracking it might appear that you've been hung up in customs when in reality your order is on it's merry way.
With my last order I see they actually even added one more little stealth measure to years prior.
I actually have yet to see a thread period on RIU with someone getting their doors kicked in due to a bean order.
Regardless though beans sometimes get snagged. It depends on where they go through when they hit the states.

Take a deep breath and read up on the law. Marijuana seeds are not illegal. They CAN'T bust you for buying seeds.
It seems that they are simply confiscating what they find. The more paranoid currents in me think about what I would do if I were trying to bust pot growers. I'd find the seeds, send them through, and keep watch on the addresses they go to.
Doesn't seem like they have the resources/manpower/motivation to do that. But I'd have them sent to a PO box or a friend's house just as an added precaution. One more hoop for them to jump through to figure out where your plants are (which they don't seem particularly motivated to do in the first place).

Actually, sale & possession of beans is not legal under current federal law. I agree with everything else you said; no time, interest or funding to pursue nickle and dime cases. When they find contraband they seize it (usually) and carry on. We tend to think beans, it's much more than that. Narcotics, pharmaceuticals of all kinds, animals of all kinds, weapons, cash, you name it.
