Herbs Looking Not So Hot

Hey so i got a little herb garden thing as a present. it seems to use ground up coir ? It was in a pellet and you added water and it poofed up alot.

Anyway none of them are doing well at all. The box said you just had to water. I have them under a CFL for 18/6 and i try not to drown or under water them but they all are sucking in different ways.

One is just growing in small concentrations on the side and the rest of the pot is empty (assuming half the seeds died due to to much water)

My basil has weird spots on the leafs and the edges of the leafs pull up and are flat instead of continuing in the normal way. (just the edge of leaf is curling up a little)

One of the pots the herb half are dead rest flimsy with no support.

My chives seem to be similar being flimsy and falling over no support.

Should i give them some light nutes? transplant to soil? Id like to have herbs to throw in some of my meals but these all look to sickly and weak to do anything with :/

Light nutes and transplant. They could be fighting over root space and nutes
They may need a mild soil instead of straight coco fibre. Which has no nutrient value
I wouldn't worry about your sage, cupped leaves is a common occurance and i think its even genetic
The brown spots could be from damaged roots but im sure it wouldnt mind some nutes

Sweet thanks for the tips kinda what i was feeling, wondered if they added nutes to the coco because the box said you could just leave them in it forever :/

But yah ill throw them in some potting soil and see how they do

Pretty sure its coir and yah good chances its the problem. Ive seen mold growing on top so i think besides not having enough nutrients it also has spores :/

Ill be trying too transplant to some soil tomorrow. Well see how it goes.
