Hercules Pots for nets in DWC?

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting so please excuse my noob-ness. I was wondering if anyone could tell me if my 2.5Gal Hercules pots would work in my DIY DWC the rest would consist of 5 Gal Lowes Buckets and the rest of that JAzz, air stones and such. The only real issues I could foresee are possibly not enough space for te roots to make it out of those slits or the wholes at the bottom. Any kind of feed back is appreciated, Thank you.

Hey whats up guys, I haven't heard anything back from anyone but there's been a few views. Please don't be worried to give me some feed back, I'm going to be running the system anyway, if they are to big I'll get smaller 1's but any kind of feed back will help me to formulate a conclusion.
