bahahahaha. lol. its all good for sighting a rifle but once its sighted do u still use it? i hate the guys that sit there talking shit. "my gun shoots thru the same hole everytime." lol. until they actually touch more than the trigger that is. i try to shoot from the shoulder to keep my practice and skill up. id rather be able to hit my target with some presicion on my own becuz u never know when ur going to need that trusty sled to drop the dear at a hundred yards. lol.
Lol ... I never made claims like that. If anything, I underplayed my guns' performance.
Rifles I did shoot from the bench. Handguns I tended to shoot standing.

Of course, I haven't hunted game, so I didn't need to practice field shooting. Were I a hunter, I'd have needed to learn a much more versatile shooting style. cn

Bi-pods (or a forked branch) are the shit when on the ground and looking for stability imo.

i have a few. they are nice for prone or off object shooting. bipods are expensive tho so i just use the two i have for all the guns. just a little swapedy swapedy and im good. usually only use them for target shooting tho. but i bring one just in case. its actually under the back seat of my truck come to think of it. lol.

i like the repeatability over a long distance that a bipod can afford me. Even over medium to short distances. i have ABSOLUTELY no problem going prone for the increased accuracy it provides (that is if ground cover and whatnot isn't an issue).

yeah. for sure. hunting is a kneel. target shooting is prone if its a long enough distance. also my back cant take lugging around a rifle so i tend to stick to varmint shooting as of late. its easier to carry around a .223 for coyotes and stuff and a .17hmr for the wabbits and small stuff. altho a good sized rabbit will explode it u hit it with a .223 varmint grenade and hornady v-max bullet. lmfao. was kinda impressed in the lethality of those damn things actually. they make small creatures explode. lmao. the 17 is nice and light and can reach out to about 200 yards and smash a squirrel pretty accurately with the heavier 20+ grain ammo with not a whole lot of wind. i like the .17 way more than the .22 just for velocity, accuracy and pure explosiveness of the round towards those pesky crop eaters. the .22 in my opinion is just cheap and easy ammo to shoot for fun anymore at cans and shit. not to mention those pesky zombies. lol.
Shoot. I hunt deer with a .223. I love my single shot Rossi.

Edit: I'm yet to shoot any small game with it though. However the squirrels have been pissing me off lately while hunting. They like to make me think there is a deer walking near by. Then I turn and look and it's a squirrel hoping around. I swear I'm gonna blow one away next hunting trip.

Planning on hunting deer (and possibly some hawg) with my 5.56. Don't know that i'd trust the .223 on hawg. Tbh, a little leary of the 5.56 for hawg but have been reassured multiple times that it is adequate.

I know what you mean. I did a lot of research to make sure the .223 round was enough for deer hunting and it defiantly is. Soft point .223 turned the lungs to liquid last year blew out part of a shoulder with it also. Damn nice round for hunting. I wish I still had my savage 30-06 though.

lmfao. do it. its pretty amazing the carnage a .223 can do to a squirrel. if you hit it in the middle it will blow it in half. like they head and arms will go flying. if you hit it lengthwise face to ass or ass to face. lmfao. as cruel as it sounds. its fucking awesome to say the least. pink mist with mats of limbs and fur flying everywhere. got to do it once. needles to say he never saw it coming. lmfao.

my .223 is a savage. nice gun for the money. great factory triggers with nice actions and barrels. had to get the heavy barrel on it tho. it was only a few extra bucks and i shoot target regularly so it made sense at the time.

why would u need to worry about MOA for such a short distance such as 100 yards? u shouldnt have to worry about MOA shit unless u were throwing rocks at that distance or shooting a .22 or something. lol.
WTF are you talking about?

I can clover leaf a target all day @ 100 yards.

I don't get why people think getting drunk and operating a gun is is unwise.

Do you not know how to fucking handle a gun?

Sigh. This is one of those "law abiding gun owners" that we don't need to hinder with any of those pesky laws, right?

I agree that guns don't kill people, but the fucking morons that are operating them sure can.

Perhaps some mandatory safety training isn't such a bad idea .....
