Aghh you just opened the flood gates! What ive got is 12 plants in coco (compressed) under three 75watt flor(they seem to be working great but im not sure I buy the 75watt rating on the package) They are currently in a under counter cabnet (Attic is under construction
) My nutes are as follows..GH floraNova GROW @1tsp per gallon, GH Floralicious GROW @1tsp per gallon, Botanicare Bio-fungicide water treatment @1/4tsp per gallon. They are in one gallon pots. As of now the lights are always on and the plants are looking good. At what point do I need to start giving them 6 hours of darkness?

i was wondering i have just got some kind of MG moistue control mix and also had some MG potting mix they both are 20-7-14 and have some time release- i heard that this mite burn my plants- what can i put them in after germination? can i put straight into the soil? or do i have do go buy some other type of goods?
im so confused my seeds are going to be finished germination soon.. i havethe MG's above what should i do ?

Alrighty then.
Seeds: 20 Jack Herer, 10 White Widow, 10 NL, 10 Big Bud, 10 Purple Power.
I plan to germ half the seeds and put the rest on ice, this would be my first grow, I wouldn't know what to do with all those plants
Hoping to get 2 to 3 viable girls and 1 male from each strain.
Will be growing in fox farm ocean dirt stuff (haven't bought yet) then outside
Will veg under 400 watt MH (switchable to HPS)
Will be taking a cutting as soon as possible from each rooted plant
-What is the earliest I could take a cutting?
Have on hand rockwool, clonex, few dozen netpots (2 and 4 inch) clay balls, pps meter, pretty strong power head with venturi, ph meter, GH nutes, homemade carbon filter, 265 cfm fam, 50 feet of of flexible dryer conduit, 500 sq ft of mylar, 6 black 8 gallon gas tanks (unused), bunch of misc rubbermaid containers (up to 14 gallon, mostly 4-6 inch deep)
-How should I clone, I'm a noob and am not all that comfortable with hydro and would rather have clones in soil until I'm brave enough
June 1st I plan on moving the first gens outside to let them reach for the sky. Planted in ground, near a stream, spread out a mile or so.
The clones will go into 12/12 under 400HPS
When sex shows on the small clones will cull the outdoor herd to only females
I want to pollinate the girls clones with their respective guys to generate some seeds
-Will males growing in seperate area share pollen? Will I end up with a mishmash of pollens or can I be sure to get pollen from each male individually?
After clones mature will harvest seeds and buds and reveg under 24hr 400w MH (probably a couple flouros as well)
-How far back do I need to trim the budded girls? Should I leave some bud or clip it all? How many leaves should I leave on, Just a few at the top?
I know a person who would keeps mothers for me as long as I supply strains he doesn't have.
-After revegging , how viable would a clone be? Wondering if it would be to old to thrive...?
- What should I do to keep the males alive as I would like to play around with some hybrids?

You can start them off on 18 on 6 off.... But if you want to today or if you want to run 24 till you decide to flower them out...

Good question....
Alright victor vicous he is a senior member on RIU, he had a journal on MG's moister control, I don't recommend time released fert's but It probably not going to die....
First wash your medium really good you want to soak your soil then let it dry then soak it again... over a coupkle of days... In flower you want almost no nitrogen, See the MG has number is nirtogen (20-7-14)But I am for sure with some good beans you can grow a very healty plant with the MG....
I would suggest using a small pot like a party cup 16oz after they germ and leave them in the 16oz cup until they grow about 8 to inches then toss them in 5 gallon bucket of the MG and you'll have some beast.... Those nutes only last for 2 to 3 months,, thats a good veg time... then you can test the soil and check your levels...

What are you talking about? is that a strain, or a weather problem due to arizona's harsh climate?

I don't know what the deal is. Got my seeds from amsterdam seed co. they are easy rider strain. I germed them in the rock wool cubes with 5.5 ph and a small amount of general hydro nutes, i forget the names of them now, its the three bottle set with flora and growth i think. the temp has been 80 for day cycle and 70 for night, Humidity is 20% though. when ever the cubes start to feel a light we water?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Damn bro I just answered every question.. and the server logged me off because it took me to long to write it... damn what a bummer... let me try again with less questions you sound like you have the right idea... I would suggest using tiger bloom and big bloom also... You probably shouldn't freese your seed... They stay good for awhile at room temp.. But Im not sure if it would hurt them?
You want to wait until your plants are atleast about 16 to 18 inches tall to take cuts off them....

you wanna keep male in a controled enviroment away from your girls because you can't control them when they are too close... No outside you'll be good at about 25 foot away.... and you want to mark down what pollin you use on what plant... so you can start selective breeding...

The nute your using is general hydroponics..
They don't look horrible but not reall bulking up down at the base...
I don't like rockwool but never used it so Im clueless.
I'd say transplant them and put the stem under the soil so only the top is sticking out... but looks like they are streaching a little... IDK what kind of light are you using?

I appreciate the reply i believe i got the light leaks taken care of now its just a matter of getting rid of this slime im gonna do another water change tomorrow. Is there any though that i can boil the airstones or something i have big ones with a very low budget right now.

Im gonna have some clones pretty soon and im putting them in rock wool inside of an ebb and flow setup. I have a few questions, I have a 400 watt hps + T12 flo i plan to use for veg and a 1000 watt hps i plan to use for flowering.
1st question, is the 400 wat hps going to be ok for veg or are they going to stretch too much? also, are there specific kind of flo bulbs that i should use?
also I will be using co2 so Im not sure if thats a factor or not....

i germinated some seeds and had two of the sprout and grow but the leaves did not open and then what look like they just rotted off but others did not.this is the first time to see that. ok the set up is a dome like growing pan with little pods for my little rubber pod .putting the root down and it grows. i have a growing heating pan under it.and dome on top dose have vents which i leave half open. now i have done about 17 plants in the last 6 weeks but these two kind just craped out. bummer to because they were both white snow seeds

The lights are just two foot fluoro grow lights.
I was thinking that for 17 days they seem very small, is that about the right size for that time.
are the small leaves deformed on that one on the right. I have some green house fem seeds coming in so I am not worried about these. I just wanted to see what is causing this.
