should i give more power to the intake fan then the exhaust so that theres more air traveling in the out , or should it be the other way around
 
hi Master and Others. i burnt on of the top bud about 4 weeks into flowering running a 600w son t agro

Any tips on how far away to have my lamp from my tops?? (Close enough to be mint but far enough to not burn would be mint)

hey does any one know how to make a window air tight so no smells leak out?

Spray on Expander foam for big holes then scrape it back and silicone over it.
And then use your silicone generously to seal any other gaps, No matter how small they are!!! :!:

Be sure to get water based silicone so that when it comes time to take it off you can just use meths.
 
well i am new to this and could use help? Heres setup
REALLY RARE SEED?TO ME Cause I buy 2 oz week and never fine any seeds and got three last time
3 plants total
small 2 speed fan
3 feet wide 2 feet tall(will move when they get tall) grow box under stand
two 15 watt day light bulb fl /13watt (cfl=60 watts 850 lumens)
plants are on fourth week of Life veg 24/24/ lightd cycle and are really dark green i water them ever time soil dries out first inch and give them miricel grow 20-20-20 mixed in water once every4-5 days there are three total and two look taller and more lanky, have less leaves then 3rd one and that one is has not been pruned and other two taller ones have.been pruned... so whats up with the differnce ,and is that enough light.......sorry so long just trying to give you best explation thankx from fellow newbie..........later

Imo you should have more exhaust than intake. The exhaust will cause a neg pressure inturn drawing in more fresh air(intake). You are trying to remove the heat buildup from you lamps and since hot air rises, you will want that heat removed from the cabinet.

Every ones box is different so you may have to experiment to find out what works best for you. I would try it both ways and see what the temps do.

Hi there..maybe you can help me! First time grower I have 2 plants that are both in their 7th week of flowering. Indoor grow rm. One is Big Bud Indica and the other Sweet Island Skunk. I am more concerned with my Indica because according to the info I read it should be ready in a week and here arent really many red pistols and my trichomes are still clear. Should I worry? With that also said, Im trying to figure out when to stop feeding them food..was going to wait until I started seeing some better signs. How do I know when to stop feeding? I wanted to do a flush sometime before the last couple of weeks I just dont know when that will be! I guess from what Im reading the best thing to do is be patient and wait for the signs...did I just answer my question? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Very kind of you to offer help!

If I was you, what i'de do is keep the plant going until you decide that your plant is showing signs that it is ready for harvest, trichome color, etc, and when you decided it's ready just feed it pure water for another 2 weeks, I mean, there ain't no set period of time that your plants have to flower and an extra 2 weeks to flush it is just gonna make it more potent as it has an extra 2 weeks to flower :D
 
i was wondering if u can help me with my problem, i just put an exhaust and intake computer fan into my box , but the temperature is not getting lower its 82F, i need advice on how to get it colder , i have a desk fan in the box but i dont use it because it seems to just make it hotter
 
well if its cold where your at, then put your pc near an exterior wall of your house. with the intake towards with wall, or depending on where you mounted your fans, make sure your exaust is at the top and the intake at the bottom on the opposite side. Again thats if its cooler outside with the wall comment. I think its worth a try, also 82 isn't all that bad, i've seen premo grow in 90's, but its not recomended. Good luck bud
 
yes I need help. I have a few plants right now using HPS lights. I dont have anything else besides a fan, mylar, and my nutes. I need to switch to a 1000 watt to accomadate more space and more babies. Instead of buying cooling systems, lights, light reflector, and a digital ballast I thought i would get 4 90 watt ufo led's or 3 120 ufo led's to save me money in the long run that way I would only need to buy a air filter. Please help me to and tell me if I am insane for doing this. Thank you any facts or knowledge would awesome.
 
indoor soil about 7 weeks ago after fiound a small pm outbreak on a few leafs i removed the lnfected leafs increased airflow/ventilation and sprayed with sulphur and fliped them was doing fine untill the rain came i found 2 spots of it tonight i have greencure a potassium bicarbonate based fungicide thats supposed to be good up till an hr before harvest but its supposed to be raining while lights are off in a few hours should i try to wash the sulphur off with water then dry and spray greencure or should i just spray the greencure over the sulphur thats still on it and the whole plant or should i just wait it out and spray or remove anything that pops up trichomes should be were i want them in around a week and theres no mildew on the buds only the lower leafs that i removed rh is 40 atm but will probably get up to 45 during lights off and raning outside im really worried about getting the buds wet this close to harvest
 
DWC seedling is about 9 days old
its got a strange black vein it looks like googled it to no avail maybe better luck here
res is 95L
lights are cfl 180 watts
ph is between 5.4 and 5.9 on avg
just fed 1/4 str nutes about an hour ago and changed res (pic is prior to this)

Is the offer of asistance still on the cards?

I'm a little stumped on medium and several things have sprung to mind that I can't find answers for...

1: Soil. If using 5 Gallon pots, how much (in weight) of soil is used for each pot. I'm looking to start out with 6-8 plants, but I'm pricing it all up first and don't have a clue how much I'd need to buy

2: I really like the idea of going for a non-nutrient soil, or soiless medium and controlling the feeding through nutes in the water. I can't really find much on what to look for in soiless.. Is it something available at standard diy store? Any particulr type that works well? (I'm in UK)

Any advice gratefully received :)
 
heyy everyone =) i LST'd one of my clones for the first time last night. while doin it i realized the stem is like rubber, i could have taken it alot lower then i did. im just wondering if the stem bein so flexible is bad? will it even be able to hold up the buds later in its life? do clones have weaker stems than plants grown from seed?
