I am building a stealth room in the unfinished part of my basement. It is 10x5x6 ft tall with a 400 watt HPS MH conversion lamp.I plan on 6 or so small plants. I started the experiment out in the closet with 5 good female cuttings and it is going so well I just have to expand to a more air tight space where I can vent the smell out and fresh air in. This is my first indoor grow and I definitely veged for too long cause 2 1/2 weeks into flower and the babys are 4 foot tall and getting crowded for that small of a light I never toped them but the cuttings branched out on their owne to about 5 good tops each. Annyway when I get the stealth room done will the neighbors be able to smell the vented air comming out my roof? closest one is 125 yards away and that is the only one on my side of the road. I live beside a cow pasture in a very rural place.

It depends on the strain some are verry strong, but from your roof and the cows i wouldnt worrie but if you asked youll prolly worrie but you can google DIYcarbon filter. On youtube peeps show how to make one for like less then 10 dollars

ALRIGHT EVERYONE.Ive got some purple powers and this year my friend gave me some pebbels so i mixed them with tthe soil.has anyone else done this because i think i might have a warter problem,so i was going to put them in bigger pots tomorrow.

ey bro ihave these plants and they reak like chronic and look really good but iwanted to smoke some weed so i clipped a couple tops and hung them out to dry for abot5 days then i had them drying in my roomin a box and now they smell like stress and kinda look like it too but the shit gets me pretty hi how do iknowif i have stress or chronic and how shoul idry 50 plants

I am freakin out.My healthy,happy girls are in premature flower.Now!What to do?They are way too puny in height (19-22inches)

hi there can you tell me whats up with my clones they are 1 week old today,
they are in a heated propergator,i mist twice a day and also open up the vents say half way for an hour or 2,and thair in soil can you help me out please?

i just completed my first grow and everything went as planned i grew thunder fuck and northern lights clones that i got locally under a 600w hps in a small ebb and flow system in homebox xl thanks everyone for the help and input. So know im trying to clone and maintain a few mothers so my question is how are people getting 40 and 50 clones of a mother only 3 feet tall how are they getting the mothers to produce clones in great numbers

No Not AT all hps require a ballast witch contains 3 parts, Starter/ignitor, capacitor,copper ballast and the socket that is 1 1/2 inches wide, some HPS bulbs small ones like 70 watt will screw into a regular socket but it wont light without the proper ballast to fire it up

i was hoping you could shed some light on the proper EC of a weekly hydro flush....how do i know if i have flushed enough? Keep in mind i am using an ebb and gro, i cant just pour a 25% nutrient solution into the pots.

Well, this is a straight newb question. How often should you water plants? I have 7 plants planted in soil after cracking and growing a taproot. I have the plants in 4" pots (planning on flowering after 6-8" with 2400 lumens/sq. ft. in veg state, 5 23 W CFL's. I see threads talking about under watering or overwatering, but never actually say. . .I water them daily. . .I water them every 4 days. . lol. I guess it has to do with temp (which I don't have, first grow. . kinda wingin' it . . planning on gettin a thermometer, just got a small fan for my stealth grow. Or without a time-based answer, how far down should the soil be dry b4 I have to water? thx in advancekiss-ass

Is there somewhere I can go here to look at your system and how it works and your setup etc... cause I have an ebb and flow system someone gave me but I know nothing about how to run it,, no directions whatsoever,, I really want to use this...

when my plants are about 10 inches tall after the first two weeks the leaves start curling usually the plant dies. Theres no bugs the water is right, have 1 36 inch 2 lamp t5 ho fixture, and 2 t8 lamps on the sides. Temperature got to about 100 before it started curling i was wondering what would be the cause of this. Perhaps nute lock? if so what should i do. This so far has happend twice. Please help me, Also when is a good time to set into flowering? is it dependant upon myself and my grow area or is there a required time before the budding stage can begin.

Yeah i know i live in arizona, mid summer and the ac went out. Did everything i could to cool it off but it wasnt happenin. Would this cause the leaves to curl and droop a bit? Ive been told it was underwatered, I got it out of the medium it was in put it in a new neutral ph medium, with no fert. And watered it good. Leaves havnt dropped any more. But its also cooled off a bit since then

yea I have just a small question bout my fresh clones. They started to grow a lil mold on them now, Someone told me it was because I didnt have it ventilated rite witch I can believe because my fan took a crap when I planted them in the cloning stuff and what not but I bought my self a new one today and today is the only day it has showed sighn's of mold . They have been rooted in the cloning mix just goining on 3 days now this friend said make sure its well ventilated witch it is now and no water till it is dry and it should die off. So my question to you is, does he know what he is talkin about and if so is there chance they will make it because there not dead still green thanxxx please hit me back

The leaves on my plant have curled downwards, and turning a bit yellow on the younger leaves tips. The older leaves are developing a bit of brown on the ege of the leaves. What can i do to fix this? Ive heard the browning tissue on the sides of the leaves are from heat stress, is this true? and will they return to normal or are they permanently scarred? As far as the curling under, i dont know, they havnt curled any more but theyre not straightening out either. I do have a 18 inch flouro on each side, could this cause them to curl, keeping in mind theyre not bending towards the side lights. Its just lost its perk, its still growing alright though, new shoots are forming nicely and younger leaves seem ok.

Watering "every 2 days"?

Your plant should be set to 16hours on 8 hours off or 18 on and 6 off for the first month or two of development. If it was a young plant giving it 12-12 light would cause it to go into the flowering stage and start producing fruit. If the plant isnt healty or old enough to support its fruits it will suck all of the nutrients out of the plant and kill it. You should start over and give it a proper 18 on 6 off light scheduel untill you feel its healty enough to bare fruit. Keep in mind they can double to tripple in height and girth in the flowering stage so make sure you dont let it get too big if your growing in a confined area. Also read up on the ammounts of water and nutrients the plants are supposed to have, the ph level of the soil, and what nutrient defeciencies cause what symptoms.
You must keep an eye on the ammounts of water given it, if the water is even making to the roots, they can develop root rot fairly easy and the soil must be loose so air can get into the dirt
Theres alot of work involved in getting your babys to flower, but its worth it. Good luck to ya mate

Hi people,
ok i'm a grower with experiance and know how and i'm stumped.
The plants are in 6in rockwool in 4x8 trays. EBB FLOW 4X A DAY 15 MINS EACH CYCLE ONLY DURING LIGHTS ON CYCLE.
Two weeks into bloom with three part gh and liquid karma and bud candy the ph is 5.8 and the ppm is like 1300 1500 the plants looked great and i flushed them to trans to aggresive bloom and this is what thay did. I've never seen leaves do this curling up then down??????? I'VE HAD THEM FLUSH FOR 2 DAYS NOW AND THE PROBLEM IS ONLY GETTING WORSE. I DON'T WANT TO ADD ANY FERTZ RIGHT NOW BECAUSE THEY LOOK SO STRESSED. I DID RUN OUT OF THE BUD CANDY SO I GAVE THEM SOME MOLASSIS (IM SURE I SPELLED THAT WRONG) THE UNSULPHANATED KIND. I DON'T KNOW IF THAT MIGHT BE THE PROBLEM?
I'm hoping there overwatered and have taken them off water and wanted to know if anyone has seen this before or has an idea. TONIGHT IS THE FIRST NIGHT WITH NO WATER, MY LIGHTS COME ON AT 9PM SO I'LL SEE WHAT THE GIRLS LOOK LIKE IN THE AM.

your lights need to be on for at least 18 hours. 12 hours is for when you want them to bloom and your plants are way to small for that. You would be best off to ditch those and start new. You would be better off with new plants. Good luck
