Built a box in the basement 8' wide x 4 ' deep x 78" high. Divided box into 2 equal 4' x 4' sections... 1 for veg the other for flower. lined with mylar and installed a DIY 250 cfm inline vent fan in the veg room and a DIY 500 cfm inline vent fan in the flower room. Each side has 2 passive inlet vents near the bottom back on area. Germinated seeds (unknown strain from decent bud with just a few seeds) Set up a drip system with a 18 gal resevoir 1/2 strenght nutes for 1st two weeks set to feed twice a day during lights on time (20hrs on 4 hrs off). The only light I had to start was a 2 bulb 24" shop light 17 watts each bulb - Weak shit I know - set 4 inches over plants. Good results given the weak lights - 3-4 inches. Switched to full strength nutes and installed my new T5 pioneer jr viii 8 bulb VitaBlume light. set light to 4 inches off plants but after 1 day the plants were badly wilting. I moved the light up to 18" above tops and they have made a pretty good comeback but I need a ruling.. first on the setup and more importantly on the proper distance of this high output T5 from the plants. Note my flower room is not yet complete but high expectations that it will be ready very soon with a 600 w HPS light over a drip system and approx 6 - 8 plants.
