Ok so this is my first time growing, i have some seeds germinating and i have 6 cups of soil in my window sill. My plan is to grow the 6 seeds in the cups until they are a decent size and transplant them into the ground, i cant decide on growing them in pots or the ground? i live in a 1500 acre woods and i doubt anyone is here to steal them, but what will planting them in the ground enhance the grow? Also should i even bother with the window sill, or right into the ground?

Growing outdoors can be tough. Watch out for rabbits deer slugs wind etc. But i always plant my plants into the ground. DO NOT plant them directly in the woods. Find a spot that you know will get a lot of sunlight. Sun=BIG BUDS! Dig a big hole (one big for one or one huge for 3 your choice) deeper the better! I like to replace the soil with Fox Farm Ocean Forest but this could get expensive! Do what works best for you! Good Luck!:leaf:

ye its a good idea to let em grow a bit before transplant to the outdoors, this is what you should do, go to your local hardware store pick up a couple feet of chicken wire stick four posts around each plant and staple the chicken wire around it( keeps animals out) and for the soil, dig a hole, if theres lots of roots in the soil get five galon buckets and cut the bottom off of them put them in the holes, put a bit of rocks in the bottoms and put some decent top soil in the buckets( also get at hardware store) than once you think your plants are ready and it is the right temperature outside transplant em. good luck manbongsmilie
