how much does the loss of high and smell occur in a plant that is herma for the last 2 weeks of flowering?
Like it threw a banana right before harvest? Or you didn't discover it was a full blown hermaphrodite until it was deep in flower?

I have some plants that shoot nanners just before chop when finishing up, haven't found a seed in my weed yet.. I mean I have in the past but not due to the recent sightings of nanners and I'm growing perpetually in the same bloom room. I wouldn't worry a bit. Smoke will not be weak because of it usually so long as you don't chop the plants before the trichomes are milky.

is there a lot of high loss?
If it's only a few seeds it's a non issue, and potency loss is minimal. The only time a plant stalls and puts all the effort into seed is when it's pollinated early, and a uniform pollination from head to toe leaving almost every calyx pollinated.

Some of the best weed I have smoked had a seed or two.

A bonus as killaki mentioned , If it was caused by late stage rodelization the seeds will be female, albeit with a small chance of continuing rodelization in future generations.

I like plants that throw a seed or two as it gives me backups for the future.

I'm growing someplants from a few hermi seeds from last year and gave some to an indoor growing buddy. All seem to be females and true to type so far. I finish my autos outside in FL and it is difficult to avoid some sort of stress. Haven't seen any reduction in high between hermie and non hermie. My indoor buddy has had no seeds and has asked for more of mine. Got some new genetics, curious to see if they go hermaphrodite in my grow environment.

Trying some binary and gnome genetics this year too. Germinating now.
