hermaphrodite plant question

if i have a plant thats started flowering and one branch showed balls but the rest of the plant shows female is that hermaphrodite??
if i chopped that branch off will more of the plant decide to turn hermaphrodite??
if the plant stops putting on hermaphrodite balls after cutting it off could it start again later in flower
the branch was like the size of my small finger and i couldn't see any other
is it normal for the plant to stop once the plat goes in to full flower like after 2/3 weeks??

I've never seen one branch be male and the rest be female. Just buds and balls on the same branch. If you got other plants then kill it. If not clip any balls that show up. Make sure you check the bottoms of buds well. Check often.

they kind of contradict them self in that video and no allot information i wasn't aware of already except from how a feminized seed is maid that was cool information and was worth the watch..saying that stress wont make a hermaphrodite and its all in the genetics then saying if you take a female plant and stress it. it will go hermaphrodite but the pollen will only contain xx chromosome over containing xy chromosome was kind of odd. not a biggy probably my miss understanding of something
pretty much they are saying if you use unknow seeds its like a lucky dip with the genetics on if its got hermaphrodite traits and once the strain has that your shit out of luck to consistently have female plants
i guess ill have to try them feminized seed

Fem seeds are good. A seed with strong genetics will tend not to hermie on you even if you stress it out.
Its gonna be money well spent. Plus, you can read about that particular strain and any good seedbank will say if it is a good "beginner" plant. Set yourself up for success.

Dude, if you have no other plants just keep going. Watch it and learn. Then smoke that shit and toss the seeds. Toss the seeds. Bird feeder time.

mate just finish it off, they make great learning tool to you. Plus you can still smoke it, and you can also use the seeds in a pinch if needed while your searching for the genetics you wanna run......

hi again so just an up date and a few more questions.
so plants still trying to put a few balls out but ive been picking them off. as i pick them off i notice a few more grow after a few days.
if i allow 1 branch to pollinated it self do you think the plant will stop producing balls because it knows its pollinated.
currently no parts of the plant have been pollinated as ive been watching daily.
today i put a plastic bag over the branch thats producing 1 or 2 balls in attempts to contain any pollen that will be produced soon.
so again my thoughts are the more sacks i pick off the more grow so if i stop picking them and just contain then bad branch it might not spread and grow sacks/balls on anymore of the plant.
am i being dumb thinking that could work.
id chop the entire branch off but then i think the plant will just produce more balls on a different part of plant

Most likely if you take the branch off they’ll show up else way.

i was reading if i reduce my lights to 10/14 the plant produce more chemicals that make the plant flower. i dont know how true that is but im a try that to and see what happens
i am hopping once some of the plant gets pregnant ill decide to stop producing
im just entering week 3 from 12/12 so if the plant isnt fucked by now im hopping ill behave

Hermies get fed to the goats. For me I don’t have time for them if it’s your only plant then some seeded buds aren’t so bad.
