This is my first grow so you could say I’m kind of a noob at this but having said that I’ve grown a beautiful plant that is healthy and thriving without ever any problems until this point. I’m almost 5 weeks into flowering and these all literally popped up that I noticed almost all over night. Only a couple had some white pistils coming from them but the rest looked identical to pollen sacs and I figured it was the case after reading almost every forum on hermaphrodite plants that I could find and never got a straight answer besides guesses from people to similar pictures. This doesn’t seem to be a normal problem people run into so it’s been hard to find any answers. They did have stems on them but even the two that had pistils coming from them of the 20 I plucked had stems as well on them. Everything I read leaned to hermie pollen sacs but I just saw one forum I hadn’t seen that said sometimes calyxs can be almost identical looking to pollen sacs. I didn’t want to risk waiting until they erupted and shot pollen all through my grow room so I plucked all I could find. I hope I didn’t just pluck good calyxs that were just identical in to pollen sacs in appearance. Also should mention this grow was from a bag seed from a Ghost OG strain from a dispensary so I figured it just had strong natural occurring hermie genetics and that’s why I see all of these pollen sacs now but I just don’t know for certain. Can anybody who’s familiar with this type of hermie problem share some knowledge on the subject? If it is a hermie it’s the genetic trait kind because there is no so called bananas in my buds that is what is caused by stress. I just have these very similar looking to pollen sacs that I guess could be potentially calyxs that popped up over night. Can’t do anything about it now I guess besides just not pluck anymore if I see them pop up again. Anybody know?
