Hermie Seeds

damn I would just scrap that as you are going to have way more seeds than bud if any. Everything looks to be pods except for the top. To be honest this looks more of a male hermie because those are not nanners those are male pods.
you know i been thinking the same thing! LOL here's what happened with the plant in the picture...two or three weeks into flowering (which at the time looked quite female) it started showing nanners. i took it upstairs and sat it by the window - thus interupting the flowering process. then i abused it LOL. about 2 weeks ago it's little sacs burst (i realized this when i got a BAD case of hayfever!). so the pics you see are the result of a polenated plant. now i have another plant that showed a nanner bout a week ago...and she is so big a beautiful...maybe a week/two max from being ready to harvest...THAT plant is the one i'm considering letting polenate itself instead of chopping. i don't mind the result of seed in my bud since this is purely for personal use and the experiment seems extremely interesting! oh and i have another room i can use JUST for her!

Clarke defined his use of pistillate as the female and staminate as the male. If i'm interpreting correctly, what i think he's saying is that a female/pistillate plant that due to stress/or whatever develops staminate/male flowers and then pollenates(selfed) itself will produce largely female seeds/offspring. I've grown gardens with a VAST variety of plants - perinials, annuals, veggies, herbs, and the cannabis is one of the most interesting plants i've encountered! it seems so "basic" a life cycle until you encounter the "hermie"! I don't mind the headache...i've got nothing but time on my hands and plenty of room to work with, and aside from the time it takes to results, it's kinda fun. it will be interesting to see if this "seed theory" is correct. As a hobby, i love the idea that i can continuously replenish my stock. now that comment is based purely on the assumption that what the plant gives is "quality smoke" - agreed!
OK, that seems to make sense, that's kind of the main stream MJ breeder view, i.e. a female that is difficult to stress into being a hermie will produce offspring that are difficult to hermie
