hermieddddd plant question

will hermie plants bud? only half my plants hermied? so should i keep them?

yes theyll bud.. but as a rule it'll be a shitty smoke..and theres a good chance any seeds you might get could carry Hermie tendencies too, altho this is somewhat disputed..

If you have some other girls, get rid of the hermies asap, before they pollinate them..

I sometimes grow out the odd 1 or 2 LR2's if they go hermie,cuz theres usually only 3wks or so left to finish them, just so i got some smoke(even if it is bad) while i'm inbetween grows..
tho theyre not really worth the power consumption...unless its a strong strain, which might still carry a half decent buzz, so long as youve removed all the male flowers as they grow, so i doesnt pollinate itself.
but generally, most of the users here bin them.

yea, but i dont know about that rule of yours. it really depends how big the seeds get, if they arent too big then the weed will be outstanding. this happened to me on my first grow and the seeds were so small they barely popped, and there werent that many at all. the weed was seriously amazing though, top quality stuff with prolly no more than 2 hermies on the plants altogether. if it doesnt hermie more than a few times (few bananas), then youll be fine.

if the seeds get big enough, the plant will put alot of energy into seed production instead of thc production - but the weed will still be dank dude. infact it will be superdank, dunno what youre talkin about - a "half decent buzz" lol. its true most of us throw them away, but if its all you have then id ride it out.

the most important thing here is that you are on week 3. this means your plants are stretching, not budding up. therefor, even if your shits have a little bud on it - its not that much and therefor will only be partially seeded. dont let it hermie again and pray it stops producing bananas, and then your weed wont have shit for seeds and itll be top quality.

lol..i was talkin bout the odd time they go belly up..with regard to my LRs if i got nothin in my other grow room i leave em to their own devices...my LRs hardly ever stretched too much to be honest..prolly 4-5"max...short compact with lotsa bud sites...unlike my keralas and sour D's which do stretch some during flower..
as i said in the post, if he's got a good strain and doesnt let it pollinate itself it'll still be good, if it does pollinate itself yeah it would still be fine..just a lil less potent = half decent buzz.

He's apparently got more chicks in his crop, so provided these dont go Herm too he should be fine.
