Hermies Question, HElp Appreciated

hey fellas, i noticed some of my plants had Male balls towards the bottom of the plants, not on the top, now if i knock them off do i have to worry about them growing back?.....And does it affect my yield or thc levels in any way, and if so what can i do to help this problem, thanks

at the moment no, but The babies are about 4-5 weeks into flowering and they have bud growing all over them, i just noticed towards the bottom there were some male sacs in acouple of them and i picked them all off, what do u think?

I got a nice looking herm myself. Removing them won't hurt anything. Just keep on top of it everyday from now on. Spray the unopened yellow banana sacs or ball sacs with water first before cutting them off. Its the seed making that hurts your yield I believe.

why would u spray the ball sac before removing them?

If's it actually a hermi all you can do is try to watch for balls and pick 'em off.........usually they're right at the node site, but they can pop up anywhere..........If you come across a tiny yellow flower, harvest within a week... Seeds will add weight, so the yield question is beside the point.........some sensi is better than more seedy, imo....whatever thc levels are, you'll leave a lot of it on your fingers getting out the seeds, seed husks taste like crap and for the most part, once they start making seed, they quit making bud.....whether locally or plant wide...

Hermies will have reduced potency over all and even worse potency if seeded. Herming is going to introduce stress no matter how you look at it. Hormone levels are no longer optimum for bud production.

THC is produced as an extra and not an essential to the plant. Aka stress hurts potency more often then not.

If it only showed a few male flowers then great pick em off before they ruin your room. If it starts exploding with male parts remove that shit.

I have a mother I have had for a while with a (one) male flower on it. All the clones that came from it did not herm. Just the lone male flower. So far it doesn't look like it has effected anything really. I am still sure that my clones will produce better bud overall tho.

what do you mean if i come across a tiny yellow flower harvest within a week?......im on week 4-5 of flowering my buds are all still premature.

To wet down potential loose pollen from the cut site. Wipe up afterwards.

Spraying might move the pollen around as well... That procedure could def be improved upon. Damp clean towel to wipe down the area would probably be as efficient if not more so.

Been there and I don't think it is anymore efficient. Then again I've been catching them really early so they're too small to dab with cloth.

To more accurate for dkaspa1987 misting until there's water surface on the site is what I should of typed. Cut it of thoroughly and then dab it dry. That's actually what I've been doing for a week and a half so far so good.

damn lol..what ive been doing is just picking them off with my hand, what if noticed is that there only on the bottom half of the plant, i have not seen not one towards the top where the buds are forming Good....ive picked off say maybe 20 sacs from 6 plants .....3 of the 9 i didnt seen any on it, im thinking this happened because of stress because all the ones i topped together are the ones that have this issue,
