Getting to the party late but yes the plant looks fine, covering the rockwool is a good idea I've used sand to keep light out too, but i put sand on top of all my potted plants. I would run 24 hours a day the plants don't NEED a dark cycle in veg, and they grow faster too, just my experience/observation. Currently I'm running 18/6 because I have a cheap 6 light t5 HO fixture and the first one lasted 5 days before packing it in and my polecat kush I was re-vegging gave up the ghost too as a result. So the new beans are running fine under 18/6. I've never seen rock wool rot, even after being covered, soaking in ph'd water for 5 days, you can dry it out and use it again. I know cuz I have. Anyways good luck. To everyone else stop feeding the troll aka bmeat, if you do he'll go away. Just act as if he's not there.
