Hey EArl whats going on, just need your or anybody else's advice on buying an RO system off ebay. Don't know what to get 4, 5, 6 stage how many gph. Also got to figure out how to get more than a 3 or 4 gallon storage tank, need about 7 gallons.

Thanks. Thats All Folks:joint:

4 stage is fine took my 340ppm down to .03 far as 7gallons go you would just need a bigger tank also about one gallon of the tank is the blater used to push water out my 3 gallon tank will give me 2 gallons of water..

so I could spend more money on the system if I wanted, then just buy a float valve to put into a toat? Also thanks for responding.

Yeah did not really even think about it but you dont even need a tank you could just put the out line in whatever will hold 7 gallons rubber made tote maybe?... and then rig a float to it I dont see why not

Not trying to state the obvious (which didn't occur to me when I was working to set mine up) but - you can only employ a float valve if the level in your res. is pretty much constant. My res drops by a couple of gallons each feed cycle - but only for 5 minutes or so. Connecting a float valve to my system would quickly end in a flooded room.

Im not putting the float valve in my res, I couldn't even if I wanted to. Im using a megagarden the res only hold 7 gallons. We were talking about putting it into a 10gal or bigger toat because the tanks the RO system come with only hold 2 to 4 gallons of water.
