I am a first time grower myself so take my advice with a grain of salt.yeah thats a good idea but the stock is really thick i kind of worry i would snap it :S ?
ignore this guy, he's on his way to becoming a cop and gives horrible grow advice such as "don't water your plants during the day or they will burn up".Tips for growing outside? hmmm... use sunlight and give em waater.
dont ask broad, general questions like this. They will most likely get trolled.
lol i heard that watering during day could fry roots (if ur n pots). so thats not true? lol wow do i feel dumb. will u xplain? thnxignore this guy, he's on his way to becoming a cop and gives horrible grow advice such as "don't water your plants during the day or they will burn up".
My only advice is to give the roots more soil than you think. Unless you already did that. If that's the case lets see some pics. Odds are they're beauts. It ain't hard outdoors.hey i have about 10 plants growing outside right now their a decent size but i could always use some friendly advice or tips
i live in southern ontario so please help thanks guys
Nice tip. I was thinking of growing clovers in my raised bed and turn it over in January. To google I go! Maybe I'll grow alfalfa if it's a winter crop.Well I can post a good piece of advice that I have not seen discussed much and that is - mulch ... I scatter a few bales of alfalfa hay down where I want to plant next year and by Spring the ground underneath is wonderful, rich and full of earthworms. It's called the Ruth Stout No-Till System after the eccentric organic gardener who championed it. Since I've started using it, everything is going much, much better and I am not battling weeds or tilling or much digging. I haven't seen it discussed in the context of cannabis, but it is ideal for that.
Yes, every year my plants get further and further apart - just lots and lots of mulch in between This year I shot for 4' on center (12 sqft per plant) and it was still too close. Next year, I'm shooting for 5'.My only advice is to give the roots more soil than you think. Unless you already did that. If that's the case lets see some pics. Odds are they're beauts. absolutely not true. my tomato plants would be toast of that were true.lol i heard that watering during day could fry roots (if ur n pots). so thats not true? lol wow do i feel dumb. will u xplain? thnx
True. Midday is of course the worst time of day to water but I will water then if I see a plant is suffering (potted or not). Believe me, it will be appreciated, especially if the water is on the cool side (not cold).absolutely not true. my tomato plants would be toast of that were true.
