Hey everyone!!!

Well I've been "lurking" around the forums for a while now, researching and gathering info on growing but decided to become a member. I've kicked the idea of growing my own for quite sometime now and finally decided to do it. After too many crappy, light, THC-less bags, (most recent, sprayed with LYSOL! WTF!!) its time to do it for myself. I don't plan on growing more than one plant at this time but maybe in the future I'll grow more, but for now, its all just for me and my family.

For now just going with a CFL grow, 4 23watt 6500k for vegging, 8 23watt 2700k flower...I know its not the "optimal" lighting, but for me, it'll do.

Guess my only question so far is which plant to grow first? I just ordered:
1x Barney's Farm - Blue Cheese - Feminized
1x Buddha Seeds - White Dwarf - Feminized
1x Barney's Farm - G13 Haze - Feminized
1x Free - 2 Free Feminized Seeds (orders of £20+) <---NO idea what these are going to be

I'd like to keep them as short as I can so any tips on keeping them shorties are more than welcome. Also plan on topping to maximize since I'm only growing one at a time.

I'll probably start a grow journal once my seeds arrive (shipped today from http://www.worldwide-marijuana-seeds.com/)

hit up the white dwarf man. top after the 3 node and LSt that moda fackle. that will make best of your lighting and keep em low.

I find 1500 watts of blended ( 500 MH and 1k hps) will make them stay squat.

That'd be nice but totally not in the budget at this time...gotta keep it stealth too. Maybe one day I'll have a nicer system

Been doing a lot of reading on LST, gonna do my best. Although this being my first grow I'm not expecting too much.
