Just sayin' hey...

I'm new to Pot completely.

The first (and, so far, last) time I tried pot, I was hanging out with the band Days of the New back in January ( 2008 ) when they came down to Georgia to play at Smith's Olde Bar. It was one joint we passed around. Maybe that's why, or maybe it was just a weak strand... either way, I didn't feel a damn thing, beyond a dry throat from smoking for the first time.

That said, I have heard much about pot, and have wanted to try it out of curiosity. So that's why I'm here. I want to learn, and to meet people... maybe meet some growers here in Georgia, near where I live (East Cobb). Right now I can't grow 'cause I still live with Mom and Dad, but once I move out and into my own place, I'm gonna try and start growing... but obviously, I got a lot to learn, first.

Hey, Nate, glad to welcome you to rollitup! I just joined this community and am trying to learn as much as I can about the growing process and how to run it all smoothly. I'm from British Columbia, Canada, by the way.

As for what marijuana does, from the best way I can describe it, feels similar to alcohol but without the nasty side effects like nausea or depression (when I drink I tend to feel great then fairly bad)

But anyways, if you can score a joint for 5$ from someone you trust I reccomend you give it a go, if you are interested. Some may disagree with me, but I think its best to smoke MJ by yourself or with someone you are frequently with the first time you try it.
that way you get the feel of the drug, and you aren't just trying to party or are getting pressured to take as big hits as you can. Also don't invite a group of people, its just a bad idea unless you're REALLY good friends.

By the way, this is my first year living alone pretty much with my GF (parents come to visit once or twice a week) and this year I'm making my first run at growing as well.

Keep getting info and learning more, this site is a great resource!

I've heard about how you don't get high the first time, but figured it was a myth and we just had some really weak strand. But it is true, then?



Also, for anyone here... I keep noticing this add that says "smoke bud legally." WTF is that and is it worth it?

don't waste your money on that shit! it is not weed there's a whole buch of shit in that stuff but not one drop of weed!
