I use backing soda, peroxide, vinegar & sea salt. Pour baking soda in the chamber then sea salt. Then warm up vinegar, next pour vinegar into the chamber followed by peroxide. Let it sit a moment so everything can mix. You will start to see the contents start to foam up. Then you just shake it around for a few moment & let sit again.
This is the best way I have found to clean all of my glass. Its natural & nontoxic as well. It does a great job at cleaning out the solid build up but also does a fantastic job at clearing up the funky smell. Glass looks like it does the day it was bought!

91% isopropyl rubbing alcohol anf salt like he said. Alcohol eats the resin away and the salt is an abrasive that when shook scrubs off all the leftovers till yiu have sparkling odor free glass
