Hey guys, i need your help on transplanting

I have a couple of clones in a 10 gallon smart pot. I put the clones directly in the smart pot when they only had one lead. It's been 6 weeks and I was wondering when and how should I transplant into a 50 gallon smart pot? And should I go bigger or is the 50 gallon too much. Now I sit and wait on what to do and light up a fat cone of some fire og. Cheers :bigjoint:

I would transplant once the plant requires a watering more frequent than once every 3 days.

The final size will depend on how long you vegitate your plant.

I wouldn't move the plant until the root ball can lift most of the soil while transplanting. And after that stage there's no sense in trashing a perfectly good pot.

kinda why i said you'll have to cut it off, Plus, My experience with fabric pots is the outside never fills in with roots and the dirt usually falls off.

and did I read that correct, there are 2 cuts in the same pot?

I feel like the smart pits dry out a lot on the edges. I like them because it's almost impossible to I over water. In thinking about planting them directly in the ground but there are gophers everywhere!!

The fabric pots, specially the big ones, are great for an organic living soil system. If you use a lot of fertilizers and stuffs you can grow a 1kg plant in a 10 gal - not much need to transplant to a bigger pot.
