Is there anything small enough to fit where i am growing? The measurements for the shelf I'm using are on my first post.
fer sure but other things need considered like the growth spurt fer flowering. if yer gonna veg.. you can find the fluorescent tubes in just about any size and length desired and can get fixtures and hang em sideways and such to accommodate just about any grow room dimension. the big benefit of the tubes is they stay cool, so you can grow the girls right up to lights. a fixture that has 4 tubes and built in ballasts werk good. spending a little chedda, the wetter ya get er. my little home depot fixtures( and sometimes find em at wal mart fer less in the hard ware) run like 7 bux and come with a reflecter, pig tail, socket, but most awesomely comes with a large metal spring clamp that attactches to the fixture. i like to use my clamp to fasten the light to the clothes pole in the closet. but is really versitile so you can clamp it on anything. my bulbs are about 9 bux, (30 w BRIGHT WHITE cfl ,aka 5100k light spectrum) and costs something like 10 cents a day running 24/7. seriously cheap to run
