alright thanks ill check this out!Dude you really need to make sure your pictures are focused properly when you ask for ETAs for optimal harvest time, I can't see the buds in detail.
As far as determining optimum ripeness, I find the condition of the trichomes a much less consistent indicator than simply looking at the buds and observing whether the pistils have receded partially into their swollen calyxs. There is reason behind this. I refer you to these comparisons: https://www.rollitup.org/harvesting-curing/28072-harvest-time-tutorial.html
i excited! ^.^ can't waitsharpen up your scissors you are almost there
i fucked up and never sprayed the fan leaves i always let them just droop out and die cuz i figured the soil is wet so it must be normal that they just wither and die and i learned that you need to mist when they are droopy won't happen agian!I see you cut fan leaves thinking this would let light get to the lower buds a newbie mistake... I did the same thing on my first 3 grows, you'll get more bud if you leave your fan leaves on
that is a great idea thanks for that i will look that up!If you have a Nothern Hydraulics store nearby, go there and buy a "jewelers loupe". It attaches to a pair of glasses ( if you don't wear glasses, go to the Dollar Tree and buy a $1 pair of clear glass glasses). The loupe costs $3 and is far less hassle than that damn Radio Shack contraption.
As for your plants, without seeing trichs I would also say 1 week, possibly 2. But you did great for a first grow, next grow top your plants above the 2nd true set of leaves AFTER there are 5 sets of true leaves. Shorter plants and 4 nice colas, not just one.
Carry on soldier !!!!!
