My dorm changed from unlimited to 10 GB internet a month. Its been 14 days and ive used 7.5 just from watching videos on sites like youtube. They told us that we should only be doing college stuff online anyways and that 10 is enough for that.... Wtf, i live here and have the right to do what i want to do online they cant tell me what is or isnt enough for me.. Cheap bastards..

Get yourself a Sprint, Quest, Verizon... wireless USB card. I have one for work, fairly inexpensive (for the company), and you can go just about anywhere.

The connections arent amazing, but it works for almost anything I need.

Otherwise you need to make friends with someone in the IT department at your school... Thats always a surefire way to get more from life!

i could dish out 20-30 extra month for a wireless provider, but then im bound for at least a year and i dont plan on staying in this place that long. The dorm said they wont make any exceptions and you cant buy more from them. Apparently they made the connection slower too, really looks like they are trying to save themselves a lil money and piss off all 100 people that live here.
I hate that they monitor all this shit such as how much we use, they do anything they want but they wont pevent my grow thats for sure.
