Hey everybody,

I'm Mike (or Mikey). I was actually trying to sign up for Grasscity's forum, but apparently there is a common issue with their sending confirmation emails. And of course their support is like legal marijuana here in SD (non-existent and irritating). So I ironically found RIU while researching a workaround. Get this- the automated confirmation email worked...automatically. Incredible. So here I am!

Anyways, I live in South Dakota (probably in the top 5 worst stoner states) and I've been smoking since I was about sixteen, I'm twenty-one now. I recently left a desk job that was making me miserable so I've been dry for about six weeks. The combination of these things has encouraged me to move to a more enlightened part of this country. Most likely Washington as I have relatives there. I've never purchased legally, but I cannot wait.

Also plan on getting a dual sport and learning to ride soon, probably not the best interest with how much I love to smoke and cruise.. Also real passionate about anything music. Writing, listening, playing.

Yeah riu is where all the cool kids are anyway and most threads in the plant problem section are answered in minutes. Tough deal Mikey hope you saved some money and formed a plan otherwise you are what I call "learning the hard way". Buying weed legal is better than I could imagine. Jars and jars of weed to smell, hotties generally serving it up and most places have clones so you can grow your own even without a permanent address to send seeds. Let me set you up with some choice key words Mikey make sure to search this one. micro grow

Well I'm pretty much debt free and have the family to stay with while I get on my feet. And a friend who just moved up to Vancouver, WA. Sounds like a real easy possibility.

Those images at the link you supplied are gorgeous. I appreciate the recommendation!
What's the yield on something like that look like?

He says at the bottom 76.4 grams and it was 17 weeks from start to harvest but he has a few other grows with the same setup. When you start having more questions start reading threads on riu. I think Google is the best way to search. You can see below how to search just this site with Google and also if you quote a group of words it treats it like one word including the space, not including case.

So you would only need a single plant if you wanted to supply yourself only, eh?
In other words, if it was for personal use only you'd have no reason to buy (other than if you want a variety of strains)?

Yeah you could do it from a single plant or many small plants of different strains also. Cloning is simple also depending on your space you could do perpetual growing.

Hmm, I just became very interested in the process of growing. I'm definitely going to look into that more

Lots of ways to get banned over there. Don't even THINK about a discussion on any topic involving firearms. And you can get banned for simply being rude to the wrong person. I can't think of a single thread in our Politics forum that wouldn't be deleted over there. Of course, I haven't been there in several years now. Things may have changed.
