Hey im very new and could really use the help of someone who is much more experienced

OKAY SO BASICALLY
I was sitting around the other day moping about shit and thinking i should do something id enjoy. Whats more pleasing than having your own marijuana plant and get to harvest that bad boy. well things moved pretty quick cause now i have two 14 inch purple skunk plants in a home rig of a grow box. about 14 inches deep and 18 wide. i installed a very quiet and yet powerful fan in the back of the box blowing old air out the back and cut a 1 by 10 inch square out of the bottom back of the box. I also painted the inside of the box a flat white. for a light i have a 64 w(150watt equivalent) fluorescent bulb suspended about 4-5 inches above the tops of the plants. I REALLY DONT KNOW what to do? Can someone help me?? I stay on a 24 hour light schedule still right? how and where do i trim it to gain a higher yield? this FIMing sounds like its productive and or do i top it? some people say dont and some people say do top it but im really a noob and i need help any advice? Oh by the way if it would be helpful to upload pics i could . Thanks please hook it up with any advice you might have for a new grower

u should try 2 put the light 2 or 3 inches away from the plant. and yes ive trimmed the top of my plants but dont cut em to short. wait to trim it untill it has 3 nodes or more it really helps. ive done this 2 all my plants and some of em. started to flower in 3 months hope this helps. watch some videos on you tube for trimming and lighting whatever u looking for. there are alot of tips. hope this helps good luck growin

thanks randy just fyi the guy i bought them from said they can go into flowering in 2 weeks and these plants have quite a few branches is that a node? every stem that breaks away from the main stem? if so i think i have a lot of nodes lol. should i post a pic?

Chyea brotha put a piic up. As for topping & Fiim- not a fan. Ii enjoy my Cola's. Try supercroppiing-twiist the stems tiill u hear a crack.{dont worry they're durable.This causes them to iincrease the hormones sent to the flowering spots as well as densening the stems} Much better yeiildiin plant. Iit'll take a liil longer tho. When your rdy to flower, whiich at the height u r descriibing u are. Change ur liights to 12/12. U'll see little hairs iif iits female at the lower nodes. Gl mayne, feel free to ask iif u need anythiin else cleared up.

About 8 is right, poor ladiies are strechiin tho. Iif ii were you Ii'd add another cfl. Try super croppiin. Dont just take my word for iit. Google that ish

Sure I shouldnt top or fim them to make them not so lengthy? To super crop I just pinch the stems? Does it matter where? And should I be trying to flower these soon? Thank you for the help by the way I really appreciate it.

No worries mayne. As for the hight u can litterally bend the entire plant over. From my experince trying to top a stretching plant just stunts them.
As for super cropping. U take a branch in your two fingers. Twist it till u hear a crack- it'll wilt over. Next day its right up again. stronger and healthier than b4.
Also add another light. It's the reason for the streching. Ur girls r trying to find a lithgt source

And yes. Flower them asap. Change lights to 12/12. Then two or 3 weeks into flowering try super cropping. Bend them over first...hahah..sory sounds hella funny

Is there a limit to how many tines I can pinch them in a day? For example if in the morning I pinch the stem in between each node is that okay?

And I'm not suppose to supercrop before my 12/12 cycle?

And idk how I'm supposed to bend them over in that box

litterally bend in to touch the side of the pot. use something to tie it in place. Dont snap the main stem. and super crop after changing the lights to 12/12 for abot 2-3 weeks

My puts are only eight inches in diameter so only four inches from stem to edge is that a safe method or can it be risky?

hard to tell w/out being there. just bend them w/out snappin. they are heart plants. just be gentle

So red I decided to take your advice and I'm off to buy zip ties now to hold them down I'll post a pc after to make sure I did it right
