Hey LED guys what do you think of these lights?

First one looks fine, the second one is rubbish.

The first one would probably be perfect for 2'x2' area :) The spectrum is good, the LED's used a nice quality and with use of white light for full spectrum. The only flaw would be if it doesn't have a proper heat sink. But I'm sure it does :) Also it doesn't say how many LED's it uses and at what true wattage.. When counting the LED's I'm seeing 40 Osram 3w LED's and 2 5w LEDengin LED's. The power consumption of the Osram will most likely be at an average of 2 w per LED and the 5 w would most likely be at 3. so a total of 86 true watts pulled.
The last thing about the light would be it doesn't say what Osram LED's it is. It looks like Osram Golden Dragon, which are good, but there is new Osram Golden Dragon Plus out, which are more efficient...
Hope this answer helped :)

Smell of bullshit off it tho, usually they dont list the actual wattage, and with the amp draw over the voltage it gives 132w, not 130w.

And not a chance in blue hell it can match a 400w HPS, Im sorry, actual watt for watt LED's do generally match HPS, but not a chance it can match up with a 1/4 of the power draw. You wont even get close to 9 ounces off that light, and thats an average 400w HPS yield.

Im sure you could do one plant or two quite well with it, but it hasnt a chance against a 400w HPS, sorry.

my experience with a 300 watt led has been poor, veg state not recomended, and the flowering, and budding, takes too long, compared to a hps system, now I am going over to two 400 watt induction lights hopefully I will be a convert.

HI folks I need some advice,I have never grown this time of year, its always been out doors, from april to september in the sun,but with nosey neigbours,I had to build a shed, then aero board it for insulation, then plasterboard over it,then lined it with maylar, will this be good enough for the comming months, and winter,or will I need heaters,I'm more afraid of mold in these comming months, and frost?

Check out the GLH (growledhydro), Kessil, AdvancedLED Diamond Series, StealthGrow, or Blackstar. Some of the best companies;that I've researched anyways. Once you start going down in price (for comparable wattages), you're going to be more and more disappointed. These LED's are kinda like car stereo amps : you pretty much get what you pay for and there's no cheap way to get it done right. Just my 2 cents.

great info Ill check em out.

I am kinda leaning towards running a 600w hps for 6-7 weeks and duing the last couple weeks throw an in a LED. Or shit might as well rock both the lights the whole time right.. Get best of both worlds??
