Just started trimming my first crop ever! Grew in soil with cfls for veg and 400w MH for flower.

lol nope thats one small branch... here is a pic of the lady.. Won't know weight until its dry but I'm hoping for 2-3 ounces. I cut the buds from the first pic off the stem and they weigh 17.1 wet maybe get 5-6gs dry?

No I cut the buds off the stem to weigh them.. Just the ones in the pic the rest I am hanging. It is a white widow strain. Have some LA confidential/cheese that will be ready in 2 weeks.

Nice looking plant for a first grow. What strain is it?

Thanks, its a WW. Didn't top this one just vegged for 6 weeks from seed. She went from a short bush to a christmas tree when she saw the MH lamp! My next crop I topped and should produce a little more with a 400 MH and the cfls for side lighting.

Just wait and see if you start vegging with a 400w MH what you end up with, and how fast...
I used to have a hard time getting my clones large enough to flower as a flowering plant was getting finished, but I was still vegging with CFLs and then flowering with HPS...but I got a 400w CMH for flower, and changed the HPS to the MH on the digi ballast, and man then I had clones that I was having to cut in half halfway through the flowering cycle because they were growing too fast...I got to where the schedule was take a clone and flower the mother plant, then veg the clone for a month (1 week to root 3 weeks of actual veg growth) and then I would clone that plant and toss the mother plant...then by the time one plant finished flower I would have a clone of the right size ready to go...I veg for 3 weeks and get 3 oz per plant...so that is awesome..but just imagine.

I am on that path now missnu.. I started my grow with $140 and cfls now I have a 600w hps/mh ballast with a cool tube reflector, a 400w MH/HPS ballast and still use the cfls. I didn't have any clones from this WW live but I do have several clones of the LA/cheese. I think I will try and re-veg the WW for cloning purposes.

I've read Ed Rosenthal's book and a couple others as well as hours of internet reading.. lol I grew in the past when I was a teenager but never had a plant flower. They either died, were male, or got destroyed.
