When I was a kid, I was all like Fight the Machine !! Now, sometimes I catch myself wondering if there are times when it might be best to listen to or even comply with the Machine. Neither one really seems like something I should just jump into.

This thread hits 10 year mark this year. I’m still decades away from 50.. but I respect all you who are! Getting old is tuff. Grit. And savage. God bless everyone especially the elderly. Be kind to them. Patient. And respectful. We all are born into this life and we all age. No one is different from this. Respect it. One love.

This is a pretty good site for all things Retirement/investing but also can answer some insurance related questions. Specifically, I was looking for reviews on new Part D drug plans since premiums for mine tripled in 2023.

Admittedly, I know next to nothing about crypto yet If I were a youngster in today's workplace I would include it in my 401k/Roths if offered. I'd skip annuities though.

"While the 401(k) remains the top retirement savings vehicle for today’s workers overall, Gen Z and millennial workers are more likely to also invest in cryptocurrency, real estate, annuities, and small businesses, unlike older generations. More than 4 in 10 Gen Z and millennial workers wish they could invest in annuities and cryptocurrency in their 401(k). However, only 31% of Generation X, born between the mid-1960s and the late 1970s, and 11% of Boomers, those born between 1946 and 1964, wish to do the same."

..also make sure you understand the pitfalls of Medicare Advantage (MA) programs vs. traditional Medicare coupled with a supplemental policy. The initial "free" premium(s) and optical/dental benefits of some MA comes with caveats.

Just curious.. Started in the 70's. Then stopped until I had severe pain issues. More tricks now and more stuff to fuck ya up.:weed: Great hobby.
True, great hobby.
Lol. I’ve got kids in their 50’s. First puff was 61-62. 1-1-1- POT. 1 pr stems 1part seeds 1 part moldy weed.
When Columbian came into the picture, things began to improve.
