Just curious.. Started in the 70's. Then stopped until I had severe pain issues. More tricks now and more stuff to fuck ya up.
Great hobby.
I'm 44, used to occasionally throw seeds out in the backyard when I lived in Cali., but now reading up, trying to learn-got 3 small plants going........... small because I started them before I started reading
Got a heart condition, but this is getting fun, even though it leads to pulling of the hair when it doesn't go right, but hope to be doing it 'till I'm 50 or better
They are about 17 weeks old, I did get lucky and the 3 seedlings I decided to keep when I thinned them out (had just tossed in a handful of bagseed into some soil) ended up all being female. The thing I don't yet understand, is that one of them (the largest) is getting rust spots on the leaves but the others aren't, and the middle one (different leaves, so I can understand different strain, has buds starting only very close to the main stalk, not throughout the length of the branches like the tallest and shortest).
First pic is of middle plant with wider leaves, other pics pretty much show tallest and shortest plants that look very similar to each other, and have buds scattered throughout the branches.
Last pic is of the rust spots, which I found will eventually dry up and curl the larger older leaves if I leave it long enough, but when I first was told it was a mag/cal. deficiency, I started the eggshell/epsom salt foliar feeding thing (I'm low budget) and for a week or so, it went away, but now seems to be coming back, and affecting even some of the smaller leaves.
