oh cause i was planning to put holes in the boxes for the vent but it would just vent into my room thanks for the info

well you can just keep it below 1000 ppm it will be fine less than 1% in the air is fine but over 2000 ppm it will make you feel drunk and dizzy and at 3000 ppm it will hurt plants too and make you pass out.

co2 can be toxic to you and your plants @ large amounts so be carefull.. but depending on the method of making you should be able to meter it..

im using cfls and i was gonna go for the baking soda and vinagar but i got a good question which would be better 6 42 watt cfls or a 250 watt hps from home depot and i got these ballasts from a premade grow box had the sylvania 55watt t5 flourous like 5 of them would those cfl ballasts work for hps

and im trying to use these for flowering im hoping to get a ounce per plant
That should be very doable. Don't worry about killing yourself with vinegar and baking soda, it won't produce enough to harm you.

CFL ballasts?

No, it can't. HID lamps require different ballasts. You can't just screw and hps lamp into any ole socket.

I think you can go either way with the lighting. If you use CFLs, make sure the majority of them are 2700k for flowering. I didn't know home Depot had a 250w grow light. an you link it?
