hey yet another newbie.. please dont hit me :)

After many weeks of reading different forums and places I am looking for straight answers and I hope i have come to the right place...

I have this grow room

i have not yet put up the carbon filter as i figured this wont be needed till later, but the fan has been wired to an old kids bedside lamp switch.. it works but is very quiet and the temp is still way too high..

now the seeds were planted last week.. humidity levels remain low and temp remains too high...

2 out of my 10 seeds have started sprouting...

im wondering if it is just the fan that is the problem? not a powerful enough adapter.. seems to be throwing loads of money at this.. and obviously would love to get it right...

would appreciate any help...

What wattage lamp, what cfm fan? As shown, 600 watts and ...

Do you vent the hot air from the tent out doors our just to the room that the tent is in?

Can you post pictures of your set up?

Are the light and fan in the same plug? They should be hooked to the same fuse for safety, if the fan goes down the light must go off or your plants will cook.

Have you checked your plugs output with an amp meter?

Are you pulling the air out from the top of the tent and sucking in fresh air from the bottom?

do you have any circulation fans inside your grow tent?

You need a cooltube, or a aircooled hood for those tents, I dont know why they gave that reflector. Probably because it is cheaper one but anyways if you have no AC or cooled intake air than you need what is stated above.

Thanks guys.. bear with me i am going to go take some pics and try upload and I will try explain what I have got going on... and hopefully its not gonna cost too much to get on the right track...i bought this grow room as i am so very new (and being a chick scared off too much construction and wiring) seems to me the tent was the only simple part of this grow kit...

a aircooled hood will help tons and cost not too much. what 420 said the best airflow is to have both airflow away from each other for the plant so air actually hits the plant. if u have a airflow going in on the bottom and on the other side a one blowing out. the plant gets verrrrrryyyyy little air flow and o2

sorry these pics are a bit hard to make out...

i have the tt 100 inline fan with ducting taking air out the vent at the top of the tent.. and a small desk fan in the corner circulating the air... now becasue the tent is in the garage i thought (after reading) i could get away with just leaving the door open to let fresh air in???

so far today the temp has been a bit better when the door has been kept open? could i just keep doing that? and keep the lights on through this stage? i think i should plant some more seeds too as i think the other ones are not going to do much.

If it isn't a problem to leave the door open that would be fine and yes you can leave the light on 24 hrs now.

Also, seed can take up to 12 days to pop so you have to be patient. Even longer if you put them straight to soil.
