HGL +Spider Farmer?

I'm getting ready to move 4 seedlings into my 3x3x6 tent. I was planning on just using my new light (HGL 300L) for the entire grow and nothing else. Starting to wonder if it would be worth it to add my Spider Farm SF1000 as well. Or would that be overkill at that point for 4 plants?

Pretty sure you mean HLG300L Right? As in HorticultureLightingGroup?
It's 90-270watts, so for a 3x3 at 30w/sqft, you're exactly where you wanna be. I would even dim it half way and bring it up to full power over the first week of 12/12.

Yes sorry! For some reason my phone keeps autocorrecting to that. OK awesome. So keep it half power during veg and then full power the whole time during flower?

Well you could increase the light a bit at a time. This maybe a better way to adjust the plant then straight to full light after veg
(Use the dimmer on the back of the light to adjust the wattage and amount of light you give you plants and just see how they do, start at about 40-50% and bring it up when you feel the plants can take it. You’ll want to go to 100% when you are in flower but don’t rush it)

Bit squishy in a 3x3, but if you defoliate and prune well, you'll be OK. Im running 5 plants (3 next time lol) in a 4x4 with 400 watts combined. Im happy
