Hi everyone,
I just happened to stumble upon this site today and am happy I did. I have always had an interest in how this is grow etc., but was not sure where to obtain this information. This does NOT however mean that I will use this information literally speaking.

I live in Ontario Canada and we have been getting some wonderful growing weather here. :mrgreen:I consider myself an above average gardener and have about 50 different clematis vines. I grow tomatoes and other veggies each and every year as we live in the country in a fairly secluded area.

I have 3 dogs and a cat that I love to pieces. They are my friends and playmates.

I look forward to getting to know some of you from other parts of the world.

Welcome to rollitup.org
Thanks so much for the welcome. This site is the coolest. Last night I spent hours reading here and it was just the information I needed to stumble upon.
Very cool place. I'm totally stoked and very envious of many of you. Although I live in Ontario Canada and love it here, there are definite benefits to living elsewhere. I'm overwhelmed by reading all this. It's gonna take a while to get used to. But it's all good!
I honestly didn't know there were soooooooo many different types of plants. It looks like I'm going to be doing a lot of reading here this summer. That saves me from digging up my old plant bible I have stashed away somewhere.

Many people would say if you can grow tomatoes then you can grow marijuana.

Oh yes INDEED! And I have great success with growing them. I have done research in the past and have had some wonderful plants.

Much better than the tomato plants that I can purchase. But I am sure I am bias.

Thanks so much for the warm welcome.
There are definitely some VERY intelligent people here.
Like I mentioned earlier, I am extremely impressed. The info here is not only written in simple text but for those that are really interested in the science behind it all, there is a wealth of valuable info.
I'm totally thrilled.

OH! I am growing the red kind!
Gosh! cherry tomatoes, plum tomatoes, and beef eater are the ones I like to grow the most. I do some canning with the plum ones and usually freeze most of the beef eater ones for later use. I grow green and red peppers, lettuce, various herbs, and green onions. I use to always grow some kind of squash but it takes up WAY too much room and it gets very hard to mow the grass..

It's nice to grow your own!

I've lived in the city before and have grown indoors. That's cool too. What a learning experience that was and VERY rewarding. What I liked a lot about that is that there was no 'having' to wait for the harvest. The harvest could start or end depending on me. That was pretty cool.

When I said I lived in Canada, that was for my own privacy. We used to live there but my husband got relocated. I'd prefer to leave my where abouts unknown.:hump:
