Hi my wife and I live in Michigan and are new to the growing community and have no idea what we are doing. We currently have 4 goriila glue #4 plants in soil that ar. about 5-6 weeks old. They are under regular lighting in a closet and seem to be doing ok.But we dont know anything about lighting nutrients how to transfer the plants to bigger containers etc. Please help us with any information you think would be helpful. Thanks and have a great day!
Soo much I want to tell you haha, fellow Michigan grower here and it sounds like you might have the cart waay before the horse and you have some catching up to do.
If you have the chance / are close by
Grow Green Michigan is a giant warehouse grow store that you need to check out once you have your shopping list
1 first and foremost if by "regular" lighting you mean house lighting no that isn't enough and is the first hurdle to jump
2 what soil did you use / is it amended / what size pot are they in / have you fed them anything but water / Where is the water you are watering with come from?
3 ( probably should have been first ) do you have your card?
4 Are you growing for personal use only ?
5 transferring to larger pots is easy if done right esp if you have the right pots ( I really like the fabric smart pots ) I can help explain the process when the time is right.
6 check my grow journal in the link below it has a lot of pictures and a breakdown of most of the equipment i currently use ( there has been a few amendments to that list but that kind of detail is irrelevant this early into your knowledge gaining )
7 What questions do you have, be as specific as possible / pictures help
Happy growing
