hi I have health conditions total newbie ☺.

got a plant starting to grow.bit of a diy set up.using a old vivarium sadly my bearded dragon died. lined with tin foil and some led lights i had from a dressing table mirror. sounds proper rubbish i know but im trying to get a grow for use to help with chronic ms moneys tight.pls don't laugh lol. can anyone help.

Welcome to RIU :bigjoint: Looks like the seedling is stretching for light, you will need to find a way to provide it with a bit more light as it goes. As for proper rubbish, I disagree. Don't be so hard on yourself, we go with what we have some times and it doesn't make it bad. Take a look at Keleb's first grow as he suggested, it's got some great info in it.

Looks solid for a DIY small grow. I don't know the watts you have / air circulation you have but it looks good for a small 1st grow

Look around for Tips like Kale did in his DIY

The tops of those bulbs(diffusers, whatever they're called), if they're plastic, can be popped off and up your light output for no additional cost. I know you can do it with other types of LED bulbs.

I'd use the one with tails but that seems too fluffy.

Welcome to RIU. I'd suggest getting rid of the aluminum foil as it can concentrate light and burn your plants.
